To begin the upgrade process, you will first need to download and upload the application you wish to upgrade to. The applications can be obtained from our documentation portal, accessible at: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/downloads/releases.

Once you have obtained the desired application, proceed to upload it to your website using FTP. If you do not have FTP access, kindly reach out to care@dynamicweb.com for assistance.

For instance, if your home directory is configured as follows:
D:\Dynamicweb.net\Solutions\Dynamicweb\Dynamicweb.cloud.dynamicweb-cms.com\Application(9.8.8)\

You should upload the new application to the designated folder for the new version. For instance, an example folder path could be:
D:\Dynamicweb.net\Solutions\Dynamicweb\Dynamicweb.cloud.dynamicweb-cms.com\Application(9.12.0)\

To locate your home directory, navigate to Settings -> System information -> File location home directory:

You now need to copy your custom code to the new application.

Once you have completed this step, you can proceed with the upgrade to the new version. To do so, navigate to the backend of your website and access the settings section. From there, select "web and http" and choose "Manage versions."
