Peek(String) Method

Dynamicweb.Content.Items.Activation Namespace > IdGenerator Class > Peek Method : Peek(String) Method
Item type.
Returns the next available Id for a given item type.

Parameters

itemType
Item type.

Return Value

The next available Id for a given item type.
Remarks
This method does not update the Id counter and should not be used for assigning Ids to items.
Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
